Diane Giammarino-Tedaldi

I have been a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist for over 20 years. I am fortunate to have an extensive background in Clinical Nutrition as well as Alternative Medicine. I graduated from New York University with a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition. I worked for over 10 years at in a major NY hospital as well as for many private physicians and clinics. As a result, I have experience in working with all age groups, from infants to the elderly, and with many types of disorders including cancer, diabetes, pregnancy, cardiac disorders, autoimmune disorders, and many others.

Additionally, I have training in herbalism and many other alternative healing modalities. I am registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), which is formally the American Dietetic Association. I am also an active member of AND’s Pediatric and Dietitians in Integrative & Functional Medicine Practice Groups, and am certified as a NY State Dietitian-Nutritionist.

One of the most amazing certifications that I earned was as a GAPS™ Practitioner. The philosophy of the GAPS™ Program is a lifestyle approach to heal the gut so the body can heal itself. This includes whole foods and good old-fashioned principles such as sunshine and exercise. Minimal supplements are used which saves patients lots of money!

As a Master/Teacher in traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho, I am a member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners (IARP). I am also a Master/Teacher in New Paradigm Multi-Dimensional Healing (MDH—formerly known as Shamballa MDH). My training is further enriched with training in basic EFT, Level 1 Acutonics™ tuning forks, Karmic Clearing, Axiatonal Grid Alignment, and Energy Medicine, and I am the past president of the Brooklyn Chapter of the American Dowsers Association.
